微软在上周发布的更新中，为 iOS 版 Microsoft Edge 浏览器带来了原生支持扩展功能，而相同功能早在 1 年多前就已登陆安卓版本。 用户想要启用该功能，需要在 URL 栏中输入 Edge://flags/，在实验页面上搜索并启用 Edge iOS Web Extension 实验性 Flag。

IT之家援引博文介绍，微软在跳出的搜索结果页面中，嵌入了新的横幅，标语为“节省时间，这里浏览”（Save time, browse here），并表示 Edge 浏览器在速度和安全性方面，优于 Chrome 浏览器，并罗列了 AI 个性化助手、赚取 Microsoft Rewards 积分等 4 项功能。

需要注意的是，这种实现方式只适用于标签栏（部分），并未带来最佳显示效果。另外，这是微软第二次在 Edge 浏览器中移除 Mica 效果，微软曾于 2022 年移除 Mica ，然后 于 2023 年 12 月恢复引入 。
